Cold process soap-making is a traditional, artisan method that's been used for centuries. Unlike mass-produced commercial soaps, cold process soap:

• Uses minimal heat: Preserves the beneficial properties of natural oils and fats
• Requires curing time: Our bars cure for 4-6 weeks, allowing the saponification process to fully complete and moisture to evaporate, creating a harder, longer-lasting bar
• Retains glycerin: A natural byproduct of soap-making that's incredibly moisturizing (most commercial brands remove glycerin to sell separately)
• Is handcrafted: Each batch is made by hand in small quantities, ensuring quality control

Why Not "Melt and Pour" or Mass Production?

Many commercial "soaps" are actually synthetic detergent bars made quickly and cheaply. They:
